Journal Making Process

During the half-century history more than 120 thousand highly qualified specialists has graduated the Ural State University of Economics (USUE). USUE has passed through a huge development path from the Sverdlovsk Institute of National Economy to the Ural State University of Economics. In addition to the economic unit there is the Institute of trade, food technology and service, including the Food Technology, Food Engineering. Quality Management, Commodity Science and Expertise Departments. The Departments staff has successfully conducted surveys under supervision of Dr. Sci. (Biol.), Prof. Valeriy M.Poznyakovsky, Dr. Sci. (Chem.), Prof. Anna V. Bryanina; Dr. Sci. (Tech.), Prof. Olga V. Chugunova, Dr. Sci. (Tech.), Prof. Sergey L. Tikhonov. The Institute scientists works are widely known not only in Russia but also abroad. Local and foreign scientific journals publish scientific works.

Within the scientific school framework, scientist work on the dissertations regarding the enlarged group of specialties 05.18.00, including 05.18.15 “Technology and Commodity Science of Food and Functional and Specialized Purpose and Public Catering” (Technical Sciences) because the University has a Dissertation Committee D212.287.02 for theses defensing for the Doctor (Candidate) of Sciences degree.
