Actual Problems of the Scientific Merchandising

Abstract:

The article considers six urgent problems that should be solved in the field of scientific merchandising. The author identified potential risks that possibly arouse if these problems wouldn't be solved, indicated the ways of solution for some of them. Additionally, the researcher determined strategic development and improvement objectives of merchandising, and also showed the priority directions of scientific merchandizing. According to the author they are the assortment management, the formation and evaluation of improved consumer properties of innovative goods, goods identification and its counterfeiting detection, ensuring goods persistence.
