The Science Support of the Food-Concentrates Industry Development for the Period Until 2020

Abstract:

The article concerns the wide range of questions from the latest achievements of the Russian food-concentrates industry (baby corn based foods, food concentrates, coffee, coffee products and tea), realization of the Russian Federal Space Program to the development forecasts of the industry sector until 2020.

The researchers systemizes the information about the manufactured food concentrates range at the present time. According to the authors the food-concentrate industry development requires to increase the integrated production capacity – technical, raw material and labor. The researchers reveal that the industry is inadequately equipped by the highly performance equipment (the depreciation is 60-80 % nowadays); clarify that there is no difficulties in the raw materials supply for the end product manufacture except the supply of green coffee and raw materials for baby foods.The authors describe the dynamics of the production, consumption and imports per capita in the sector for the period 1990–2020; recommend to pay special attention to highly profitable products as sweet dishes, cereals, coffee, coffee products and tea.
